CHECK-IN INFO. FOR GUESTS OF MarDei's Retreat 221 S. 4th Avenue CHECK-IN INSTRUCTIONS ∑ Please do not park in front between Midnight and 6 am during the winter. The town will tow your vehicle. Please use the parking lot off the alley, behind the cabin. Pull forward so you can park two deep and pull close, side by side. ∑ Everyone is required to remove their shoes inside the door. No Exceptions. You will be charged for the carpets to be cleaned for noncompliance. ∑ No Smoking/No Pets ∑ ONLY USE HIGH EFFICIENCY (he) laundry soap in the NEW Samsung washer! ∑ Open living room vertical blind, so you can see out, before pulling it back to open, or the plastic pieces will break off. ∑ When making a fire in the fireplace, make sure the mesh screen is always covering the open fire. If not, sparks will pop out and burn the carpet. ∑ We provide an initial supply of paper towels and toilet paper. If you run out during your stay, you should pick up more at the grocery store. Please do not use the kleenex for toilet paper. ∑ Make sure front and back porch lights are off before going to bed. ∑ Turn off lights, bath fans, and TV’s when you leave a room. Please turn down the heat to 65 when leaving for the day and make sure fireplace doors are closed. ∑ Check the hot tub to make sure the cover is closed, and clipped, and the jets are turned off. ∑ You may use the gas grill on the back deck. There is a spare propane tank next to the grill. Please notify us if you need to switch tanks so we can fill the empty one. Please turn off the gas at the tank after each use. ∑ There is a trash dumpster in the parking lot. You have a small gold key on your key ring to unlock. There are also recycling bins for glass, newspaper and aluminum, in the trash area next to the cabin. Please lock dumpster after each use, and do not lose padlock.
